Affecting System - All Nodes
Dear Customer,
We are writing to let you know that we are currently experiencing localized network issues in your area that may be impacting your internet speeds and connection stability today.
Our technical teams have identified external signal interference in the area, likely caused by local radar equipment or other high-frequency devices nearby. This interference is colliding with our network signals, which is unfortunately causing intermittent drops in connectivity and slower-than-usual speeds for some of our customers.
Please rest assured that our engineering teams are actively monitoring the situation and working to mitigate the impact. Because this interference originates from external equipment, we are also collaborating with local regulatory bodies to pinpoint and resolve the source of the conflict as quickly as possible.
While we work on a permanent fix, here are a few quick troubleshooting steps that might help improve your connection right now:
Restart your router: Unplug your router for 30 seconds and plug it back in. This can sometimes force your device to automatically switch to a clearer, less congested channel.
Switch to a 5GHz Wi-Fi band: If your router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz options, try connecting to the 5GHz band, as it is often less susceptible to certain types of everyday device interference.
Note: You do not need to call in to report this issue. We are already on it and will automatically update you as soon as the signal stabilizes.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing to your day, and we appreciate your patience while we get everything back up to full speed.
Warm regards,
Dot WiFi Services
